Micropep is building a more sustainable agriculture for future generations. We develop natural crop protection solutions based on the incredible potential of micropeptides, small natural protein molecules that target and regulate plant genes and proteins. We are building the next generation of sustainable solutions for farmers who care about their crops and the future of our planet.
Micropep was founded in 2016 as a spin-off of "LRSV", a French plant research laboratory of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and the University of Toulouse, a center of excellence in AgriTech. To date, Micropep has raised nearly $60 million from leading European and American investors and began its expansion in the United States in 2022.
We are a team of roughly 50 accomplished and motivated people from different scientific, technical and business backgrounds. We are united by our desire to leave a positive impact on our planet. Together, we are revolutionizing crop protection with our proprietary micropeptide technology.
Your Mission
As a Senior Biostatistician, you will be a cornerstone of our Data Science department, driving the statistical excellence that underpins our entire R&D pipeline, from early discovery to field validation and industrialization. Your mission is to transform complex, high-dimensional biological data into robust, actionable insights that directly accelerate peptide discovery, development and innovation.
You will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing experiments across Biology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioproduction, and Field Trials, ensuring statistical rigor and reproducibility at every stage. By embedding statistical thinking into the design-test-learn loop, you will help generate high-quality data that fuels our machine learning models and decision-making frameworks.
Your work will not only enhance the scientific credibility of our findings but also unlock value from data, enabling smarter resource allocation, faster iteration cycles, and more confident go/no-go decisions. In doing so, you will contribute to building a scalable knowledge base that empowers cross-functional teams and strengthens our competitive edge in next-generation peptide-based crop protection solutions.
